The junior squad have taken delivery of a set of riggers  to create Grosvenor Rowing Club's first octuple.

We  are most grateful to the Rowing Foundation for making this possible with the 50% grant they provided to buy the riggers.

Tim Williams awarded British Rowing’s North West Lifetime achievement award.

Grosvenor Rowing Club, Chester would like to congratulate Tim Williams on this well-deserved lifetime achievement award. Tim joined Grosvenor as a young man in the 1970’s and rowed for many years to Senior A level, before taking on the role of coach. He coached novice & senior women with Sue Bein from 1990-94 and remains in touch with the core of this squad today.  He coached the first crew from Grosvenor to a Veteran World Championship in Cologne in 1994.

The annual Sherry Party was held on 23/12/18.
